NeuralPurge (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) respects your privacy and is designed to help you identify and remove unnecessary files from your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use NeuralPurge, how third-party services may process information, and what choices and rights you have.
1. Information Processed by NeuralPurge
NeuralPurge’s core file-scanning and cleaning functions operate locally on your device. Files examined by the App, including advertising cache, outdated APK files, residual files, and temporary data, are not uploaded to our servers. We do not intentionally collect, store, or sell your personal files or personal information through the core cleaning functionality.
The App requires file-management access because scanning and removing selected files cannot be performed without appropriate access to device storage.
2. Third-Party Services
To support attribution, application performance, analytics, advertising, and service measurement, NeuralPurge may integrate third-party platforms. Depending on the version of the App and your region, these may include:
- Attribution platforms: May receive advertising identifiers, installation or campaign information, and related technical signals to determine where an installation originated and measure advertising effectiveness.
- Analytics platforms: May process information such as App interactions, device characteristics, diagnostic information, and usage events to understand performance and improve the App.
- Firebase: Certain Firebase services may process technical information, diagnostics, usage events, or identifiers for analytics, crash reporting, and related functionality.
- Mediation / aggregation platforms: These services may process advertising-related information to facilitate ad delivery and measurement. In particular, an aggregation platform may collect “Installed apps” information for “Advertising or marketing” purposes, subject to its own privacy practices and applicable consent requirements.
Third-party providers operate under their own privacy policies and terms. Their processing may differ from NeuralPurge’s local file-processing practices.
3. Advertising and Personal Data Choices
Where applicable law requires consent, NeuralPurge or its third-party partners will request the appropriate permission before processing information for personalized advertising or similar purposes.
You may withdraw applicable consent or limit personalized advertising through the privacy, consent, or advertising controls provided within the App, your device settings, or the relevant third-party service. Where legally available, you may also contact us to request that your personal data not be shared or sold. We will honor valid opt-out requests as required by applicable law.
4. Data Retention
NeuralPurge does not retain your scanned files or cleaning results on our servers as part of its core functionality. Information processed by third-party platforms may be retained according to their respective policies and contractual or legal requirements.
Where we directly receive personal information through support requests or privacy-rights requests, we retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records of compliance, resolve disputes, or satisfy applicable legal obligations. When retention is no longer necessary, the information will be deleted or anonymized where reasonably practicable.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access: Ask whether we process personal data about you and request a copy of applicable data.
- Correction: Ask us to correct personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion: Request removal of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Sharing information: Ask whether your personal data has been shared with third parties and, where required, receive relevant details.
- Sale information: Ask whether your personal data has been sold or otherwise disclosed for purposes legally considered a sale.
- Opt out: Request that applicable sharing or sale of your personal data stop.
- Complaint: Where available, lodge a complaint with the data-protection or privacy regulator responsible for your jurisdiction.
To exercise these rights, contact our DPO using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
6. Data Protection Officer (DPO)
Our designated Data Protection Officer is:

The DPO is responsible for handling privacy inquiries, rights requests, and data-protection concerns relating to NeuralPurge.
7. Legal Basis for Processing
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, our processing may rely on one or more of the following:
- Consent: Where you have provided permission, particularly for certain advertising, analytics, or personalized services.
- Performance of a contract: Where processing is necessary to provide a requested service or functionality.
- Legitimate interests: Where processing is reasonably necessary for security, service improvement, fraud prevention, or operational purposes, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligations: Where processing is necessary to comply with applicable laws or lawful requests.
Third-party providers may determine their own legal bases for processing under their respective privacy policies.
8. Children’s Privacy
NeuralPurge is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where such collection is prohibited by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact the DPO so that we can review and take appropriate action.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by NeuralPurge. Because the core file-cleaning process occurs locally, your personal files are not routinely transmitted to us for scanning or cleaning. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. External Services
Links, advertising services, analytics components, attribution technologies, Firebase services, and mediation platforms may be governed by separate privacy notices. We encourage users to review the privacy terms of those providers when applicable.
11. End User License Agreement (EULA)
Your use of NeuralPurge is also subject to our End User License Agreement (EULA). The EULA governs your license to use the App, permitted use, restrictions, intellectual-property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and other terms concerning your use of the software.
This Privacy Policy addresses data practices only and does not replace the EULA. If there is a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the EULA regarding data processing, this Privacy Policy will control to the extent required by applicable privacy law.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy when our services, technologies, legal requirements, or data practices change. The updated version will be made available through the App or the relevant distribution channel, together with a revised effective date where appropriate.
